LASVIT - THE ART OF BOHEMIAN GLASSMAKING

Lasvit is a Czech design house and a leading force in the international glassmaking industry, blending the heritage of Bohemian glass with contemporary design. Founded by Leon Jakimic in Northern Bohemia, Lasvit has grown into a vibrant hub of creative art, design, and manufacturing expertise. The company designs and produces bespoke glass installations showcased worldwide, alongside distinctive lighting and glassware collections. Driven by a spirit of experimentation, Lasvit collaborates with some of the world’s most visionary designers and architects, including Kengo Kuma, Zaha Hadid, Nendo, and the Campana Brothers. Structured around the themes of Love, Light, and Glass, the book traces Lasvit’s history and creative DNA, while also serving as a richly illustrated, educational encyclopedia of glassmaking—introducing traditional techniques and future visions of applied art.
